fwiw, I tested this locally and I get the following error:
File "/home/vagrant/src/templates/badger/includes/macros.html", line 5, in template
{%- set img_url = MEDIA_URL + "img/badges/" + badge.slug + '.png' -%}
UndefinedError: 'None' has no attribute 'slug'
