This problem occurs in version 24.3.0 and earlier. Actual results: The wrong image that is displayed in place of the correct image is always some image already inserted into any email saved in draft or already sent previously. Expected results: When forwarding the email the original images should be preserved.

wagner, thanks for reporting. This looks very much like a duplicate of known bug 766495. We are looking for volunteer who can fix it...
