The 'Cellular and Data' section of the Settings app has a sub-menu for Data Settings. One of the options in the Data Settings menu is to provide a name for APN. In Serbian-Cyrillic, this value defaults to "Phone" which translates to "Телефон".

Repro Steps:
1) Set device language to 'Serbian-Cyrillic'.
2) Launch Settings app.
3) Navigate to 'Cellular and Data'.
4) Navigate to 'Data Settings'.
5) Observe text box directly beneath 'APN'

Actual:
The text box says 'phone'.

Expected:
The text box says 'Телефон'.

This issue also occurs in the 'A-GPS Settings' and 'Message Settings'.

I have reproduced the steps described in this bug.
I even tried using 2 diferent sim cards.

On both I get blank text boxes as you can see on attached image.
I also checked all the settings string that have word "phone" in it and all are translated to "телефон".

Do you have any ideas what is causing this bug or is there something that you did while testing it that isn't described in bug?

Hmm, It would appear that the issue is SIM specific. On my ATT SIM, this issue occurs for all languages.

I have reproduced the steps and the text boxes are indeed blank.

If that's the case, I'd suggest to move this on Gaia::Settings and have someone clearing the issue, since it doesn't seem to be a problem with the locale.

Note also that it could just be the right APN server to use for ATT

Delphine, can you assign somebody that can handle this issue?

The default data in APN setting is read from the operator
