On bug 974189, you can see bug 947240 marked as duplicate. Move your mouse to see the description of bug 947240. The tooltip is not large enough, as it doesn't show all the text.
Tested on Nightly and Firefox Beta, with and without hardware acceleration on Windows 7. Bug reproduced on all of them.

Maybe the same underlying problem as bug 957396.

Seems likely, given the fixed width (480px) on these tooltips mentioned in bug 957396 comment 11.

Yes. The size is exactly the same. Bug 957396 didn't make a difference.

Could you please confirm if the bug is like the one at https://bug863824.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8350616 ?

If so, please resolve this bug as a duplicate of bug 863824.
