User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140212131424 Steps to reproduce: Have a mailbox with more 4GB of space. Actual results: Mailbox is not sync. Expected results: Mailbox must be sync.
What do you mean by sync? Is the server POP3 or IMAP4?
Any news?
Sorry, the message is in French, so I do not understand it. But TB does not yes support folders over 4GB in size as you have already found out by joining the relevant bugs :)
(In reply to Neustradamus from comment #2) > POP3 or IMAP4, same problem: > - http://bioman.blanc.free.fr/bugs/thunderbird1.png > - http://bioman.blanc.free.fr/bugs/thunderbird2.png Which is for pop3 and which is for imap? For imap. If you are talking about Tb's file size of imap offline-store file, file size limitation of 4GB is already removed by using 64bits integer for file size/offset in file instead of 32bits integer. What kind of problem do you call by "Mailbox > 4GB bug" in imap case? Do you correctly define imap account in Tb, according to provider's instruction?
In this case, it is for IMAP. There is a good configuration. It is strange that the 4GB file bug exist in a NTFS partition on HDDs (not FAT32).
Current "4GB limit in BerkleyStore folder" is irrelevant to file system of OS. It comes from "maximum number which 32bits integer can hold". It is also irrelevant to "2GB file size limit in SMB file share". > In this case, it is for IMAP. What kind of problem actually occurs on the IMAP folder in your environment? Problem in Compact? "UID larger than 4Giga" is already used by your server?

Archaeopteryx on irc points us to http://transvision.mozfr.org/?recherche=il+n%27y+a+plus+assez&repo=release&sourcelocale=en-US&locale=fr&search_type=strings == "not enough disk space to download new messages"

Summary: Mailbox > 4GB bug → IMAP Inbox Mailbox > 4GB bug - "not enough disk space to download new messages"

But that message seems to be for POP3...

Any news of this bug? It will be resolved in 45.1 ? (it is not in 45.0) A lot of providers offer more than 4GB...
We have made progress in the >4GB support (it is in other bugs). But it is not enabled in TB45.x . We may aim for the next release of TB52 (we are now at 49 internally).
Depends on: 789679

If this is just a case of generic "TB does not allow growing a folder above 4GB" then bug 789679 is the meta one to dupe to, unless there are more specifics in the bug in question that allow duping it to one of the bugs bug 789679 depends on.
