From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010824 BuildID: 20010824 Action: select Help/AboutMozilla Expect: At top of page is the word 'Mozilla' and version info Actual: Only saw word 'Mozilla' at top of page; no version info If I enable javascript then things work correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Diaable javascript 2. click on Help/AboutMozilla 3. drink beer :)
Most of the about: functionality uses JS (about:plugins certainly does). I think we should enable JS for all about: pages no matter what the pref is set to. ccing mstoltz for his insight/feedback

This happened because I made about: pages no longer get the system principal, so they're subject to the javascript enabled pref just like everything else. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 91779 ***
