I've proposed grouping together various network errors into different groups which would each be represented by a unique icon: - Resource not found - Page error - Connection issue - No internet connectivity - Misc. error The current proposed icons can be found here (scroll to bottom for Iconography section): https://people.mozilla.org/~vtsatskin/notes/Projects/Message%20Cleanup/proposed.design The icons should be ironed out to have the following properties: - All look like they are from the same "set" of icons - Match the minimalist look we're going for - Look good both as a favicon and blown up - Vector graphics are preferred as we intend to use SVGs Care should be taken in order to consider meaning of icons and the symbols used in them in different locales and cultures. A separate bug should probably be created to evaluate these concerns.

Are there icons for this as part of project Chameleon ?
Val, can you review your glyphs with Stephen Horlander and Anthony Lam (team glyph for Project Chameleon). I would decrease the size to 30 pixels, and also increase the contrast of the glpyhs. Try using #5a5a5a or #333333 hex values for the added contrast.

Hey Mike, I reviewed some of Val's icons and suggested he locate the files for the icons you've made for in-content prefs. His use cases are for desktop only and so I gave him some tips regarding iconography to help move this along. Notes for Val as per our discussion: - pay attention to measurements of key elements (e.g. stroke width, corner radius, etc) - keep consistent padding as current icon elements unless there's a reason not to (if you want it to stand out, etc) - re-use elements of current icons if you can (e.g. the "page") - make sure the important elements of the icon are distinguishable at the size they're supposed to be displayed at .. I think that's all, but feel free to ping me if I can help more!

The location of the iconography has changed. You can now find it here: http://val.ninja/fx-network-errors/master/#iconography
