From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010904 BuildID: 2001090408 It would be great to have an option to encrypt not only passwords, but any personal informations, like the mail folders, the address book and so on, using the master password. Personal e-mails should not be readable by the system administrator. Expected Results: Options in the preference panel to encrypt with the master password some private data (mails, address book, bookmark and so on)
bug 19184 " is "[RFE] Encrypt Bookmark Folders, Cache, etc. Inside A Profile" bug 35308 is "password and encrypting protecting for mail folders" bug 40725 is about hooks for address book to later implement encryption via. Most of this bug is covered in other bugs, but i didn't find an actual RFE for specifically encrypting the address book. Perhaps this should be marked dup of 19184, and a specific AB RFE bug filed instead, with 40725 as dependency.
