Plugin details:
The F5 SSL VPN Plugin is used to provide VPN access to customers. This represents a very diverse set of users for over 7000 customers. The plugin is delivered from an enterprise VPN appliance and the users can access "Internal" resources securely. By blocking the plugin this will severely impact the enterprise support for Firefox

In order to consider the whitelist, you need to complete the application, in particular provide the exact plugin details from about:plugins.
Also, please provide details about your transition plan away from plugins. You can do that publicly here in the bug or by private mail to pluginwhitelist@mozilla.com

Our long term plan 9-12 months plan is to move all the functionality of the plugin into a standalone application. We have standalone applications on some OS already available and we plan to do the same for all OS

Application accepted for this cycle. This debated whether to accept this: since this is not a plugin that provides general web functionality, a plugin is not the right technology. Expect that we will not renew this whitelist request when it comes up for renewal in 4 months.

This has landed in Nightly builds. Please download a nightly build from http://nightly.mozilla.org/. Using a fresh profile, verify that the plugin activates by default and shows as "Always Activate" in the Firefox addon manager. (Profile manager: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles)
