Description: If the user completes the link process between facebook and youtube they will not receive a confirmation. The 'connect' button next to the 'Facebook' under 'Connect your accounts' does not change to 'disconnect'. If the user taps this button again they will see a white screen and a loading bar and then be returned to the previous page. Please see the linked youtube video. The button will change to 'disconnect' if the account is properly linked. Repro Steps: 1) Update a Buri to BuildID: 20140319000200 2) Download the Youtube app from the marketplace 3) Launch the Youtube app from the home screen and login 4) Tap the three bars/drawer in the top left corner 5) Tap 'Social' and then tap the 'here' text 6) Tap 'Connect' next to 'Facebook' 7) Proceed through the prompts tapping 'OK' Actual: The user will be brought back to the 'Social' screen with no confirmation that they linked their facebook and youtube accounts. Expected: The 'Connect' button will change to 'Disconnect' and/or the user will receive confirmation the accounts have been linked. 1.4 Environmental Variables: Device: Buri 1.4 MOZ BuildID: 20140319000200 Gaia: c03a6af9028c4b74a84b5a98085bbb0c07261175 Gecko: b07ecc057abf Version: 30.0a2 Firmware Version: v1.2-device.cfg Repro frequency: 100% See attached: logcat, video URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?edit=vd&v=VATzqKLLqAg

The issue is reproduced on Flame v2.1. 1) For Twitter, it's successful to be connected. 2) For Facebook, when I input Facebook account and password, then click on "log in", it goes back to Youtube app. I captured the log for both of Twitter and Facebook, and there is an error for Facebook: 01-08 12:12:57.404 I/Gecko ( 211): Performance warning: Async animation disabled because frame size (470, 4) is bigger than the viewport (360, 641) [div with id 'progress'] 01-08 12:12:57.824 E/GeckoConsole(11753): [JavaScript Error: "NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE: Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIMessageSender.sendAsyncMessage]" {file: "chrome://global/content/BrowserElementChildPreload.js" line: 43}]

For Twitter(In reply to xshen from comment #2) > The issue is reproduced on Flame v2.1. > > 1) For Twitter, it's successful to be connected. Hi xshen, Twitter can also not be connected in flame in our locale.
I am able to connect to Facebook and Twitter account in YouTube app. What I observed: 1)After YouTube app is installed, for the first time, click on "Connect" for Facebook, a Facebook page is popped up and user can input username/password then click on "Log In", it goes back to YouTube app. 2)For the subsequent time, if click on "Connect" for Facebook, it goes back to YouTube app. The issue is user doesn't receive confirmation that the account is linked. The account has been connected to YouTube because you can share video from YouTube app to Facebook or Twitter. P.S. I am using VPN Wi-Fi without firewall blocking. For step 1) it's probably related to different data connection.

(In reply to jingmei.zhang from comment #7) > Hi xshen, > For issue 2,Can you help to check? For issue 2, there was another bug to address it. [B2G][Youtube] The user is unable to check the boxes under 'Share your public activity to connected accounts' refer to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=985715
