(Keywords: uiwanted, Whiteboard: [has addon][dupme])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140314220517
Steps to reproduce:
1. Right-click on Email Address in Header (or in Address Book entry)
2. Look for 'Compose Using Template...' choice to select a Template from my Templates folder to open a Compose window addressed to the recipient right-clicked on
Actual results:
3. No choice found
Expected results:
3. Found a choice to 'Compose Using Template...' that had a drop-down menu listing all of the Templates in my Templates folder for me to choose from.
4. Clicked the desired Template, and a compose window opens based on the selected template, already addressed to the desired recipient (complete with Display Name).

Hi Charles,
this looks like a nice & useful RFE to me, albeit perhaps not urgent.
You can use the following addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/stationery
I guess the next step is to specify how the UI for this should look, surely there's more than one way of realizing this.
Keywords: uiwanted
OS: Windows 7 → All
Hardware: x86_64 → All
Summary: Feature Request 'Compose/Reply/Forward Using Template ...' → Implement template selector to compose/reply/forward using existing template
