I have DDE disabled, per bug 59078 Starting in the past week or so, when I click on a URL in another application (such as Eudora) if I currently have at least one Mozilla window open, rather than going to the appropriate page, Mozilla displays a blank page and the URLbar is empty. This used to work just fine before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Configure Mozilla to be your default HTTP handler in Windows 2.Disable DDE. (not sure if necessary... bug 59078 ) 3.Open a Mozilla Window 4.Click a URL in another application, such as Eudora or MS Office Actual Results: The open mozilla window will go from whatever it's currently displaying to a blank page. Expected Results: Rather than a blank page, moz shows the correct page. In my Windows explorer settings, URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol is set up as: <path>\MOZILLA.EXE -url "%1" If I do not have a Mozilla window open at the time I click a URL, Mozilla *does* display the correct page. It's only if Mozilla is already running when the problem appears.

I was seeing this on Linux until blizzard's new X-Remote stuff landed.

This is one is the same than part of bug 98799, although somethings are better explained here.

Occasionally when I click on a link, the content window will load properly, but a second, smaller window will open and load about::blank. Related? I have not determined a reproduceable case yet :(
