The close button in the Task manager is fiendishly difficult to tap. This issue has been observed repeatedly in usability tests. Frequently, users try to tap on the close button to close the task, but instead end up launching the card instead. 

The minimum recommended tap target in this case would be 8mm x 8mm. The button can keep the same visual appearance but the tap target should be increased to meet this minimum size.
