From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091311 Since mozilla is made to be a standards-complaint web browser, mail should be set to send messages as plain text instead of html by default Plain text is a standard for a reason. Everyone can read it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install mozilla Actual Results: HTML is default Expected Results: Plain text should be the default
Amen on this issue. At the very least there should be a preference that can be set in the preferences dialog to set plaintext as the default.
What are you talking about? Just turn off the option "send mail as html" This bug is about mozilla getting installed with that option turned off I wish someone explained me why if mozilla wants to be the "standards complaince browser" this issue has not been at least discussed. It's a trivial fix
i have a patch
