Similar to how we set up tarako to build apps on each commit, I'd like to do the same thing for fireplace. The app on -dev is https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/app/marketplace/ I'm not sure where the script is that builds it, but I can help you get the commands right (they are pretty much the same).
For tarako we use https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/blob/master/mkt/fireplace/management/commands/upload_new_marketplace_package.py + https://github.com/mozilla/yogafire/blob/master/fabfile.py#L42 We need to refactor the management command to make it work for multiple packages and not just 'marketplace-package', which is actually the tarako package.
