In the mobile meeting today blassey expressed the need for ESR support for Android 2.2 on gecko 31. Coop suggested we could just branch off 31 and land patches there if needed. i.e. not create a specific ESR branch but keep the old branch alive and land patches there if needed

To support Android 2.2 on mozilla-esr31 we need:
* Releng automation
** corresponding release configs
** Not sure how we set BUILDID so it doesn't collide with other builds published on Google Play
** test automation in staging
* Product changes
** changes to the manifests so the builds don't show up in Google Play for newer Android versions
Anything else?

Just as a fyi I opened this bug but don't have time to work on it. After I finish bug 1034055 my next priority is bug 1019724

We'll have to figure out how to adjust http://hg.mozilla.org/build/braindump/file/default/releases-related/push_fennec.sh to cope with this too.

I made some changes to that at bug 1042835 comment #14, we may still need to modify push_fennec_release.sh so it picks up the armv6 from the appropriate location.
