I'd like to see the Messages App thumbnail received MMS Video attachments during the download process, or alternatively, when the user opens the video to watch it.

It is a bit annoying to scroll back and always see the placeholder image, especially when other platforms I use will thumbnail video MMS attachments.

Thanks Brett, this would actually be a welcomed addition!

The idea of getting the thumbnail out of the view activity is interesting, I don't know if that's possible, but I'll investigate this.

No problem, Julien :)

Obviously, I think most would prefer the thumbnailing happen BEFORE the file is opened, but if that isn't possible, thumbnail after would likely be preferable to no thumbnail.
