Probably the wrong component, but meh.
We've switched to GIO long ago, I think it's time to make it a hard default and remove --enable-gnomevfs.

Martin, do you still support RHEL5? and if yes, does it still use gnomevfs?

Seamonkey was using gnomevfs but the patch in bug 794772 to move SeaMonkey to GIO has landed now. I don't know why that bug isn't marked fixed.

Yes, we ship the ERS line on RHEL5 but without the gnomevfs support.

Do you have gtk 2.14 and use gio?

Neither of them. The gnomevfs is just disabled in official firefox binaries on rhel5. Looks like it's mozilla default setting and we don't enable it explicitly on RHEL5.
