Details

Since we opted to use emulation for Android 2.3 and Firefox OS testing, we have an abundance of pandaboards that are functional but unused. We plan to put some of those panda chassis (current expectation is 3 racks worth) in storage, using them as a pool to backfill broken production pandaboards. We will also repurpose their supporting server hardware (three racks means 8 4-node iX systems, for a total of 24 nodes) as Firefox test machines (Windows, Linux, Android).
