Description: If the user attempts to add a music file from the music library as a default ringtone the ringtone will not change. Pre-requisite: Have at least one track in Music Library Repro Steps: 1) Launch Flame Build 20140926000202 2) Launch Music Library App 3) Click the Share button on one of Music Tracks. 4) Select "Ring Tones". 5) Make sure "Use as default ringtone" is checked. 6) Select Save. 7) Have another device call the device with the new ringtone added. Actual: Previous ringtone that was set on device will play instead of the newly a ringtone. Expected: It is expected that the new ringtone that was selected as default will be played when the device has a phone call. Adding qawanted for STR verification. I was unable to reproduce this issue.

Blocking Reason: Broken functionality regression Jim, Please take a look. Thanks Hema

I'd need a regression window to do much with this. For whatever reason, this is completely busted on master, and it looks like the "Create Ringtone" dialog full-on crashes when you try to save. Given that not much has changed in that code, I'm going to tentatively blame mozSettings.

(In reply to KTucker [:KTucker] from comment #2) > Adding qawanted for STR verification. I was unable to reproduce this issue. I was able to reproduce the issue following the STR on a 9/26 build. The music that was set as default is not used when receiving a call, and it is reflected on Settings > Sound > Ringtones section. It still shows 'Firefox' as default, and not the title of the song that was set. The ringtone is correctly set via Music app. This can be confirmed when receiving a call or viewing Ringtone name is Settings. Given that not much has changed > in that code, I'm going to tentatively blame mozSettings. I can confirm that this issue is reproducible on latest 2.2 master. Flipping tracking flag to reflect that and I'll work on the regression window. So based on comment 5, marking 2.1 as unaffected with latest and removing 2.1 blocking. Please add regression window for master. Thanks Hema

Is this another instance of Bug 1071431?

This is probably bug 1071431, but the ringtones app is currently so broken that I can't say definitively.

This seems to be working now. Feel free to reopen if you still see it.
