fix logviewer lines
r+ for the bug 1133910 and bug 1133875 parts; left some comments for the bug 1133875 change. Happy for the former two to land now, before 1133875, if that means unblocking the deploy :-)

Bug 1133910 - Fix logslice by using pickle-able BytesIO for caching
Also updated the use of ``caches`` instead of ``get_cache`` which was deprecated in Django 1.7
