RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 833272

People

(Reporter: peter.lannigan, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0
Build ID: 20150321145517

Steps to reproduce:

OS: RHEL 6.6 64-bit
Thunderbird: 31.5.0
Lightning: 3.3.3
Home directory on NFS
GNOME environment

-Configure Master to store account credentials in Thunderbird

-Cleaned up provider
-Deleted all calendars in Lightning except Home
   -Remove Provider for Google Calendar
-Deleted all passwords for Google Calendar access

-Reinstalled
-Installed Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4
   -Restarted Thunderbird
-Calendar tab -> right click -> New Calender
-select 'On the network' -> next
   -select 'Google calendar' -> next
   -entered gmail credentials
-selected multiple calendars that I had access to
-verified I could see the calendar data correctly

-Stop & Restart Thunderbird

Actual results:

Thunderbird pops up several 'password required' boxes. The quantity is equal to the number of calendars plus one.

Expected results:

There should only be one 'password required' box since this is the master password to get to all of the stored password. Even if Provider:GData has to pop its own it should only do one.
Currently the only known workaround is using an additional extension like Bug 833272 Comment 2.
