I wasn't sure if this should be marked [PP], so i left that for you paul. Here is the problem: If you fill out the wallet info and then try to autofill the name field on the amazon page, a window pops up that says: "alert! There are no fields that can be prefilled." Steps: 1. Goto the "enter you wallet info here" page and fill in the first and last name. 2. Goto the amazon.com page and try edit | wallet | safe form fill Expected: The field shouls fill in with the first and last name you originally entered as your wallet info Actual: An alert window that says "alert! There are no fields that can be prefilled." Machine and Build tested: MacOS 8.5.1 with build 1999081009 Note: This does not happen with Win and Linux, which have their own bug 11465

Summary: Safe Form Fill not working properly → [PP] Wallet mapping tables not getting downloaded on Mac
Target Milestone: M10
Due to bug 10456, we were no longer able to download the mapping tables from netcenter. Thanks to some changes that Andreas Otte made for us, we can once again download the tables. But his code does not yet work on a mac. That explains why the fill-in did not work. If you try a fill-in using the same form that you saved, it will work (I hope). That's because we don't use the mapping tables in that case. Changing the summary line to read "Mapping tables not being downloaded on a mac". And, yes, it is platform dependent.
Severity: blocker → critical
Yes, it looks OK on Mac if you use the same form. Although our builds don't have the fix for 11465 in it, so it doesn't actually fill it in, but you don't get the 'no fields' error. Jay, until this bug is fixed, please use the same form for the saving and the pre-filling on the Mac. Removing from blocker list as there is a workaround.

Has anybody tried this again on the mac since the event loop is enabled for some time now which was the blocker for not loading the tables?
