Steps to reproduce:

Start latest Nightly, await all restored tabs. Note, I do run PassIFox add-on. However, I've bisected and the last known good was https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/62d9b117c688, or 2015-05-13. I will try and disable PassIFox and see if the latest Nightly comes good after this.


Actual results:

The Master Password dialog opens. This is not unusual. Enter the correct password, the dialog opens again. This is unusual. Correct password or cancel, and the dialog just keeps reopening continually.

I don't know if it is linked to the dialog issue, but eventually all Nightly windows automatically close. The firefox.exe process is still running and never exits. Needs to be killed.


Expected results:

Expect that the dialog should not reappear. Also, shouldn't crash Nightly.

OK. Disabling PassIFox fixed things for latest Nightly. I will raise a bug there if I am able to.

Bug 1161686 changes utility code (e.g. the summary even states command line build utility) that doesn't end up in the product so it is extremely (understatement) unlikely to be it.

I can not reproduce this issue on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0

I will close this bug. If anyone can reproduce it please reopen this issue.
