drag and drop of card to mailing list adds a duplicate card, if email address contains capital letter to reproduce: add a new card with the email "FOO@BAR.COM" or just "Foo@bar.com" then, drag and drop that card onto a mailing list. that will create a new card in the addressbook, instead of using the existing card, like we do when the email is in lower card.
Trunk build 2001-01-03-03: WinMe Reproduced.

Happens to me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020219 Build: 2002021915 Drag and drop adding recipients to mailing list doesn't work. Instead of copying the entry to mailing list it creates a new card for the new list entry. This happens only to LDIF imported books/lists that are not in the Personal book but in some other address book for example MyOtherBook. Also, I concur that it matters if the address contains capital letters. Eventough the lower case addresses seem to go to the list they only show in the Mailing list's edit window and not in the list view.
Correcting my previous comment: This happens with Personal address book as well. My previous test only had lower case address. Also, when creating the mailing list for the first time everything seems ot right, except that the first address on the list get copied to the end of the list as well. After the initial creation adding addresses to the list seems to work sometimes and sometimes not ie. the address doesn't show on the mailing list but only in the list edit window.
It looks like this problem is not confined to Drag & Drop. I see this in the automatically generated Collected Addresses book too, ie duplicate entries for emails containing capitals.
...continuing last message... I am running Mozilla 0.9.8Build 2002022306 for Linux i686
Marking nsbeta1 because: 1. The card is not automatically added to the list 2. The user will then try to drag-n-drop again which can result in more problems for the list, and additional entries to the address book. There are many users who have capital letters in their email address.
