Reproducible on: Firefox 43.0a1, Firefox 42.0a2, Firefox 41.0b1 across all platforms STR 1.Launch Firefox with clean profile. 2.Open Youtube with HTML5. 3.Play a random video. 4.Click right 2 times consecutively to open the context menu. 5.Try the following options: a) Click Mute option *AR*: The video is muted but the volume icon from generic youtube controls bar shows that the video is unmuted. b) Click Full Screen *AR*: The generic youtube controls bar is not displayed in fullscreen mode. c) Click Show Controls (make sure that you are not in Fullscreen mode) *AR*: The generic youtube controls bar and firefox video controls bar are overlapped. Left click on the video should stop/play the movie, but this command is canceled because both controls bars are displayed. Additional notes: - This issue is reproducible on Firefox 43.0a1 (2015-08-12), Firefox 42.0a2 (2015-08-12) under Windows 7 64-bit, Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit and Mac OS X 10.10.4.
Chris - who would be the right person in UX to figure out what the video controls *should* do.

(In reply to Vasilica Mihasca, QA [:vasilica_mihasca] from comment #0) > a) Click Mute option > *AR*: The video is muted but the volume icon from generic youtube > controls bar shows that the video is unmuted. This looks like a YouTube bug because Chrome has the same icon problem. I will report this to Richard at YouTube. > b) Click Full Screen > *AR*: The generic youtube controls bar is not displayed in > fullscreen mode. Yes. I can reproduce this in Firefox (using "Full Screen" on Firefox's video context menu). Chrome's video context menu does not have a "Full Screen" command. > c) Click Show Controls (make sure that you are not in Fullscreen mode) > *AR*: The generic youtube controls bar and firefox video controls bar are > overlapped. > Left click on the video should stop/play the movie, but this command is > canceled because both controls bars are displayed. Yes. I can reproduce this in Firefox, but not Chrome. I don't think we need UX input to tell us the expected behavior for issues b) and c). We should allow YouTube to show its playback controls in fullscreen (like Chrome) and we should not block video pause/play when both YouTube's and our native playback controls are displayed. The only UI question I have is whether we (or YouTube) can do something about the overlapping control bars..
