Description: When a user attempts to observe Contact Details for a contact in their list, they will observe on tapping the name, the transition to navigate to this page is met with a blank page, colored by the communications theme teal, for about a second before opening the Details page. This appears to be a visible regression, that is performance based, as we are taking longer for the user to access this page then previous, along with displaying an odd UI page in between. This issue appears similar, though not as severe, to this issue in messages: bug 1193029 Note: Bug 1196885 was also observed today, Contacts appears to have suffered a major regression. Borja it seems the changes for bug 1183727 may have caused this issue. Can you take a look?

Comms triage: The modification of the navigation is a change due to the New Gaia Archicture. The pre-render functionality in Gecko should make the transition faster in 2.5. In case where this functionality never made it to 2.5, would UX hold the release on this new blue transition?

Hi! I've sent an email to dev-gaia with the explanation. This is happening due to from now on all views are a different URL, so we are navigating as the web does. Vivien is working in the navigation, so in the very near future we will have all transitions in System, and 'prerender' will be in charge of avoiding this 'blue' screen. Closing this as WONTFIX due to actually it's not a bug, it's part of the plan! :)
