With help from syd we've now got support for playing WAV format files which is all that was required for AIM. Since we also want to support other sound formats I'm moving the bug to M15 rather than marking it closed. If that is the wrong thing to do please let me know and I'll close this bug and open a new one for adding additional format support.

Moving all latered bugs to M20 as ordered by project manager. Although these bugs are now open, assigned and targetted, XPToolkit has no plans to fix/implement them in the current release cycle, if ever.

What other formats do you want? AIFF and other formats supported by QuickTime would be trivial to add.
Bug 65053 requires support for whatever format is used by the sounds in the System file. Beyond that, and whatever QuickTime gives us for free, I don't think anything special is needed.
