This is a weird feature request. When we have a known failure that we're waiting on results, we'd want to star other jobs that are not this known failure. For instance right now this link will give all the B2G Debug Mochitests which are currently failing. https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-inbound&fromchange=de40eee9f33f&filter-searchStr=b2g%20ics%20emulator%20debug%20mochitest%20mochitest I'd like something that would hide only these jobs and show me all the remaining jobs so I can star them. This is somewhat like hiding jobs but only temporarily and preferably by a specific query rather than something I might accidentally leave on for others.

This is a cool idea. Though hard to prioritize. If we want this higher, perhaps we could add it to the Sheriff's top-5 bug list? Maybe check with kwierso and tomcat if this sounds appropriate.

Sorry it took me so long to notice this. If you check the "Need more information from..." box down below, I promise to get back to you sooner. :) I'd be happy to help mentor you through this. I can't quite think of the right approach on it yet, however, so I'm not sure how hard it would be. :) I think I may have some ideas, though. The best approach would be to support a syntax in the filter field. Bug 1193778 is the real solution. Support text boolean operators in the search field. That way you could do "not", etc. I'll jot down a couple pointers to where to start in that bug. But this would be an AWESOME thing to have. Just require some interesting JavaScript work. :)
