Details
When reading a selected message in a folder if you leave that folder and return
Mozilla doesn't remember which message is selected. For example...
1. Select a message to read in the InBox.
2. Go to view some other folder, like Sent.
3. Click back on InBox.
Expected action: The last message being viewed in the InBox should be displayed.
What it does: Displays the default web message from Mozilla mail.
Why this is noteworthy has to do with going through archived mail for
information. Such as searching through mailing lists and the like. It is not
uncommon to have to work through several subfolders to gather information, and
having Mozilla continually forget your place in them is definitely a usability
issue.
I should note that Netscape 4.7x operated in the manner in which I described
above. It would remember where a user had last been for each folder for that
session. The hope is that Mozilla should behave in a very similar way.
