Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20020111
BuildID: 2002011103
I am using Webmin to administer a Linux box from a Windows 98 box. When I open
the SSH/Telnet Login I see "Click here to get the plugin" I follow the links
download and install (did this three times) and the results never change.
Something is wrong. Either the Plugin doesnot install correctly or Mozilla does
not look in the correct location for it.
Under Add/Remove Programs Properties window I have Java 2 Runtime Environment
Standard Edition v1.3.1 and Java Runtime Environment 1.1 both installed. So I'm
suspecting Mozilla.
My Netscape 4.7 install sees the page fine, so the network settings between the
two machines is fine.
I will be updating my Mozilla Build tonight to make sure there are no recent
fixes that have resolved this.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I have only done this on one machine with one build. But after attempting
to get this to work three times, I have given up and reported a bug.
Actual Results: Plugin not found.
Expected Results: Run the Java Applet
se comments in bug 100393 for which files to copy to the plugin dir.
If you upgrade from an older version of Java, you probably also need to remove
the old dll's before the new will work.
