How is this a duplicate of bug 1245994? In this bug, flash content is placed in a wrong place, just like in bug 1241060

Both involve flash windows displaying on top of chrome after displaying the menu bar correct? Your str for both are almost identical except for the way you invoke the menu bar afaict.

(In reply to arni2033 from comment #3) > How is this a duplicate of bug 1245994? In this bug, flash content is placed > in a wrong place, > just like in bug 1241060 Oh I see, one is invalidation, one is the position of the window.

This is a dupe of bug 1242273. A couple key notes: - you have to have a lot of tabs open to reproduce - the window will update on its own, you just have to wait a second or two.

one additional note - the tab bar must be in overflow mode. I'm not sure why but this plays an important role in both bugs.

Summary: [e10s] Windowed plugins overlap urlbar (fail to align correctly) when the browser menu is displayed → [e10s] Windowed plugins overlap chrome when the browser menu is displayed

To summarize: in this bug the plugin window fails to reposition down below chrome when the menu is displayed. The bug requires tab overflow be enabled in a maximized window.

Forget about comment 9. This bug was introduced again by bug 1148978. Bug 1245994 also changed behavior: now the result the same as described in comment 0.
