User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Before leaving my company I downloaded all my mails to keep them in the future and week after leaving, my ex-company cancelled my account.
The problems is that now when I open my old emails to find relevant files, Thunderbird keeps trying to reconnect to the account and it is killing my nerves. Is it anyway to cancel these notifications?
Thanks for your support!

1. Click on the account.
2. Click "View settings for this account." on the right pane.
3. Click "Server Settings"
4. Untick everything under "Server Settings" on the right (e.g. "Check for new messages at startup" and "Check for new messages every xx minutes")
I don't think this is "instant messaging" though so I'm going to change this component.
Component: Instant Messaging → Untriaged

Defninitely an issue - I am certain we have one or more previous reports
Component: Untriaged → Account Manager
Summary: Stop "Enter Credentials...." notifications → Stop "Enter Credentials...." prompts for non-existent account.
