Trunk build 2002-03-13: WinMe
Overview: With a list selected in the directory pane, delete cards in the
results pane then switch to another address book/list and back and now the
results pane is empty.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a mailing list with 5 cards (card1-card5)
2. Select the list in the dir pane
3. Shift+Select 4 cards in the results pane, select the Delete button
and the results pane only shows one card remaining (i.e. card5), as expected
4. Switch to another AB or list, then switch back to the original list
Actual Results: The results pane is blank. Switch between different address book
and different lists and then back and the results pane is still blank.
Workaround: Open the mailing list and the entry is present (i.e. card5), close
the list, then switch between an ab/list and back to the orignal list and now
the results pane will show the entry.
Expected Results: The card should display in the results pane immediately.

Nominating for nsbeta1 because it will appear as data loss no matter how many
times the user switches between an address book and back to the original list.
It is not obvious that the user has to open the mailing list, close the mailing
list, then switch back and forth for the cards to appear in the results pane.

marking as P1.
there a whole bunch of bad things going on with mailing list, let's take this
opportunity to give that code the beating it deserves.

Marking nsbeta1. This bug makes managing lists very confusing. The user should
not have to open/close the list dialog and then switch between address books to
see that the list is reflected correctly.

Mozilla 1.1b nightly build
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020901
can not reproduce

I can reproduce this with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020914
I created a new list "test2" with 5 cards "test[1-5]@test.de". Then I removed
test2 and test3. After that, the list displayed only "test1@test.de" while
double-clicking on the list shows me that test1@, test4@ and test5@ are members
of the list.
Steps to reproduce this bug:
1. Create a new card
2. Create a new list
3. Add the card to the list
4. Remove the card from the list
5. Add a card (some or different) to the list
6. Select the list
Results: GUI shows an empty list, while double clicking shows a member

Trunk build 2002-12-23: Mac 10.1.3, WinMe
Marking Worksforme. It appears to working using the original steps.
Steps in comment# 9 appear different from the original steps since they never
mention selecting the list from the directory pane. If steps in comment# 9
display an empty list then please open a new bug.
