I replied to a news message, and in the compose window, the header menu said "Newsgroups:". But then I got the message back from the *mail* server and the newsgroup name was in the "CC" header.

reply to a news message is affected by the same regressions than for POP (bug 14045 & bug 13891). But event after by-passing those two regressions I am able to reproduce this bug. Still investigating...
OK, it's just a problem with the dropdown menu, event if it show newsgroup, it still on another value. If you manually reselect newsgroup the problem wont appear! I need to reassign this bug to mister GFX popupmenu, who is it?

this is working for me. I am able to reply to a newsgroup message. marking works for me.
