nthomas says he can't either. I have the assume:project:releng:treestatus/admin on my LDAP account. I tried logging in and out multiple times.

FWIW, I can still close trees, so this is only affecting some unknown portion of the population who should be able to close.

And now Ryan and I have the UI to modify trees again. Weird.

One possibility is that this is the same thing as bug 1389277, and that treestatus intermittently has periods when nobody can close or open, just not frequent enough for anyone to notice them most of the time.

I will look at this. I might be that there is some errors are swallowed when fetching scopes from taskcluster.

This looks to be a problem with login.taskcluster.net. Restarting it fixed the issues on Friday.
I'm closing this issue but if problem comes back please feel free to reopen it.
