Request is to have the product point to the /whatsnew page in the Firefox 62.0 release and show it (WNP). Current conditionals will remain and changes to copy will impact only en locales, (those that default to en-US), so no localization is required.
Flod - the requirement in this next rev of WNP is to show new content to English locales. As above, there's no localization request for this new content (a CTA for Pocket) I'm not sure if it's necessary to include those, but wanted to be sure I asked if the lang files for en-CA, en_GB will be impacted?

(In reply to Eric Renaud [:erenaud] from comment #1) > I'm not sure if it's necessary to include those, but wanted to be sure I > asked if the lang files for en-CA, en_GB will be impacted? We only need to make sure to include them in the releng list, even if not completed. At that point: * If the lang files is active, it'll show the content from the template * If it's not active, it'll redirect to en-US Both are fine, as long as template use en-* in conditionals for the new content.

Earlier today, I set up the WNP rule with the same conditions than we used to have in 61.0 (bug 1463821), except: a. The URL is https://www.mozilla.org/%LOCALE%/firefox/62.0/whatsnew/?oldversion=%OLD_VERSION% (instead of 61.0) b. It'll display it for version <62.0 (instead of <61.0) c. en-CA was added to the list of locales. I checked this over IRC with :flod. This has no effect to Canadian users yet as 62.0 is the first release to support en-CA. This can be checked at [1] (expand the last "updateLine") [1] https://aus5.mozilla.org/api/v1/releases/Firefox-62.0-build1
Depends on: 1463821
Stefan - For QA testing, the images in the last link can be used as reference to confirm conditional content is functioning according to the grid here: User state/content: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SzZjnmYcQCO5p9dfR6w44OzjJbR4ZMVC0J3tIv-EFoU/edit#gid=0 Images: https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/issues/5946#issuecomment-417077495 Please ping me with any questions. Commit pushed to master at https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/commit/c8cbf0571997cd7ec4194b72d0e93b8a645938bd Whatsnew page for Firefox 62 (#6090) * [fix bug 1478858] Whatsnew page for Firefox 62 Creates a new whatsnew page for Firefox 62.0 promoting Pocket. The Pocket content is English only and all the other content has carried over from whatsnew-61 so there should be no new strings for l10n (I imagine if this performs well we could localize it for Fx63). https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1478858﷒0
