Bug 1496284 details some changes to Firefox's key handling that break most versions of Etherpad-lite such as the one we use on public.etherpad-mozilla.org. Etherpad-lite 1.7.0 release fixes this so we should upgrade to it as Nightly users will see breakage soon it seems.
