+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1500105 +++ We need tests for the Exchange AutoDiscovery. Probably under mail/test/mozmill/account/
I agree that tests would be good. We should make this xpcshell unit tests. The logic files are all cleanly separated from the UI, and contain the majority of the behavior, which makes it feasible to test this without UI. This needs a lot of different servers. Best would be to run this against real world servers, i.e. with Internet connection.

Summary: tests for account setup Exchange AutoDiscover → Tests for account setup Exchange AutoDiscover
The possiblility to run against real world server (in a docker container perhaps) would be nice, but to start we could just have something where the fake server provider a few of the possible xml files in response.
FYI, when I say "real world server", I mean the actual servers on the public Internet. > we could just have something where the fake server provider a few of the possible xml files in response. Yes.
