Details

STR1:

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Navigate to http://techcrunch.com/2016/04/05/will-an-apple-a-day-keep-webrtc-away/ or http://techcrunch.com/
  3. Slowly scroll down while the page is loading until you see "Load more" and press it
  4. Scrolling is not smooth / the page is jumping during scrolling

ER: Smooth scrolling
AR: Scroll is not smooth / the page jumps while content is loading

The issue is even more noticeable in responsive design mode using S9/S9+ as a device.

The issue does not reproduce with layout.css.scroll-anchoring.enabled set to false.

The same behavior is reproducible on https://finance.yahoo.com as well when using the mouse wheel or arrow keys to scroll up and down.

Is it possible to get a screen capture of the issue? I can't seem to reproduce non-smooth scrolling or page jumping while loading.

I may have seen 1519462 as I had a slow script warning triggered in the browser console. Currently, I`m not seeing the mentioned issue after a fresh restart of the browser.
