Note

  • When reaching the Add New Address modal (from browser Options, Privacy & Security, Forms Autofill section, Saved Addresses modal, Add... button is pressed) and the First Name, Middle Name, Last Name input boxes are selected, the highlight displayed is confusing.

Affected versions

  • Nightly v67.0a1
  • Beta v66.0b13

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10
  • Mac OS 10.13.6
  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Prerequisites

  1. Go to about:config and give pref "browser.search.region" value "US".
  2. Go to about:config and give pref "extensions.formautofill.available" value "on".
  3. Restart the browser for the changes to take effect.
  4. Add at least one address.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open browser.
  2. Open "about:preferences#privacy"
  3. Scroll to Forms & Autofill section.
  4. Click on the "Saved Addresses..." button.
  5. Double-click on the first address.
  6. The Address is opened in edit mode; Close it by clicking on "Cancel" or "Save".

Expected result

  • The first address is highlighted correctly, but that highlight is displayed over another highlight of the whole addresses list.

Actual result

  • Spacing between the 2 selection highlights should be displayed unambiguously OR the highlight of the whole addresses list should not be displayed at all.
  • This issue may be related to bug 1509514.

Aditional details

  • This issue occurs a bit differently, but it does occur on all of the three main OSes (Windows 10, Ubuntu 16, Mac OS 10.13.6).

Can you provide the regression range? I suspect this is a de-XBL or Fluent regression.
