Details

The Protections panels (Cryptominer, Fingerprinter and Social Tracking) are completely inaccessible to keyboard only users (including screen reader users).

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10 x64
  • Ubuntu 18.04 x64
  • Mac OS X 10.14

Pre-requisites:

  • In about:config change the pref "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.devtoolsEnabled" to true

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Open about:newtab#devtools search for CRYPTOMINERS_PROTECTION
  3. Click on the "Show" button.
  4. In the newly opened panel, try to navigate through the buttons "See Protection" and "Close" using the keyboards (tab button, right/left arrow)

Expected results:
"Close" and "See Protections" buttons should be accessible via keyboard.

Actual results:
"Close" and "See Protections" buttons are not accessible via keyboard. This behaviour is encountered also for the social tracking panel and for the fingerprinting panel.
