In absence of a tooltip, it's not clear what the [x] buttons next to our new recipient input fields are going to do - just hide the field, or remove recipients, or remove recipients AND hide the field?
Proposal for tooltip text of [x] buttons (example of CC field):
"Remove all CC recipients"
If we have that tooltip, perhaps we could drop the alert? (not sure)
Btw, "Remove" is more appropriate than "Delete" for the action of removing recipients from a message, and we use "Remove" in the alert, so this should also be changed in pill context menu. Delete has connotations of permanent data deletion, e.g. of a contact, a notion which may well come to mind for the context menu of a recipient pill.

Mass-changing bugs around the new recipient area (pills) from product/component MailNews Core/Composition
to Thunderbird/Message Compose Window
, because composition frontend code is not shared with SM. Mostly cloned from Bug 440377 which started out in MailNews Core
long back.
