Treeherder logged us out on several occasions.
It doesn't show you are logged out until you refresh the page.

It seems the sheriffs are being signed out multiple times a day since the migration.
Before I believe it used to once a day.
Is this something we adjust on our side or your side?

We should keep this bug for our purposes to change the state to signed out once we hit an issue with authentication.

It seems the main bug is bug 1444895.

Since Sarah is going to look at it on bug 1444895 we will dupe this one and see what is the outcome of it.

I think there's some confusion people are having over whether this is a Taskcluster issue. Taskcluster credentials are completely decoupled from our mozilla auth0/session management credentials, which are retrieved when you login/logout and are used to make certain requests to our database. Taskcluster credentials are retrieved separately and are only used for specific Taskcluster actions (retriggers, etc).

So the title of this bug is confusing. What does "Sign out user when we fail to authenticate with Taskcluster" mean? Does this mean you are randomly logged out of Treeherder or you have a problem specifically with Taskcluster credentials if you are performing a retrigger (or other applicable action)?

Bug 1444895 comment 29 shows the user is logged out from treeherder (attempt to classify a task) and Treeherder still shows them as logged in.
