Please specify, what is a long time?
Do you encounter the same issue when started in safe mode?
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
The long time is near an hour.
But since there is memory leaks the ram is full before something else happen. On my 16Gb of ram it take, near, new 0.1% by second.

Yes same issue in safe mode.

When did this first happen?
What changed just before it happened?
I can’t remember it’s start months ago. First there is no memory leaks and so i just wait to make my filters now it’s not possible.
(i currently use debian testing)
I try to use the dev console but it freeze and nothing appear in.
If there is a fast way (little busy) to provide logs or somethings let me know i will glad to help.

Geek sorry for the delay. Do you still see this problem? If so can you share your filter list privately?

reporter is gone.
Would have been useful to know whether language pack was being used.
