This script is odd - part of the error message when running in py3 involves going through python files in Mako-0.9.1.zip and rust files.

Sorry, my previous comment got added before it was ready. Anyways, I get that error now on my local builds. I'm not sure why it would only happen on my machine, but could it perhaps be related to the python version being used (my machine uses python3.8.2).
