[Steps to reproduce]
1- Visit youtube
2- Open RDM with touch simulation disabled
3- Click notification button
4- Click search field and input text
5- Activate touch simulation
6- Click notification button
7- Try to type in the search field.

[Expected result]
User should be able to type in text fields

[Actual result]
Nothing happens when clicking on text field.

This also happens when a pop up is triggered for instance in reddit.com when trying to log in a pop up window is displayed.

The STR provided in the opening post seems to be fixed by Bug 1623941. Note that opening the dropdown menu, then clicking the textinput field takes two actions: one collapses the dropdown and the second action will actually focus the input field. I believe this is to be expected.

However, the video shown in Comment 1 is still reproducible. It looks like we have a similar bug filed at Bug 1625925 that also addresses it. I think we should close this bug and point any discussions over there.

I'll mark this bug as FIXED since the initial STR has been resolved. However, please feel free to re-open if need be.

This is still happening on macOs 10.14, but does not happen in windows 10 pro.
I'm including this new video as now videos listed are also flickering when notification popup is opened. This only happens with touch simulation activated.

Hi Clara, sorry about the delay in addressing this issue! Unfortunately, I can't seem to reproduce this on my own machine using Firefox Nightly 80. Just wondering if are you able to reproduce this still?

Micah, my bad, it is not working exactly as expected, if a device was chosen it won't let the user scroll. Here's the attachment.Text input works, but the dropdown menu gets corrupted, and also tooltip gets stuck. Not sure if it's related to this bug though.

I'm uncertain if this issue is actually intended for devices (I don't have an iPad to test this on). If I try replicating the steps above in Chrome Devtools' Responsive Design mode I see the same thing (dropdown menu does not have a scrollbar and the tooltip intermittently shows up).
