When scrolling with the mousewheel on certain websites I get bad screen tearing. Sometimes using the middle click scroll also tears, but that's less common. Watching HTML5 videos doesn't tear (unlike the other bug I filed). It seems like lighter-weight pages that spend less time rendering don't tear - I see it periodically on Twitter and Ars Technica is a nightmare.

I'd say I've only been seeing this for a week or two at most, though I became actively aware of what was going on in the last couple days. For a bit I thought it was just caused by having a gsync game open on my other monitor, but it persists across reboots without any games open.

I'm using the latest nvidia driver (445.75 from 3/23/2020) on win10 x64. Will attach a screen recording once it finishes encoding.

I recognize that this is caused by the driver blocklist, but horrible screen tearing under basic compositing does not seem like good or intended behavior, especially because it doesn't impact video.
