Details

STR:

  • Have a WebExtension that overrides the default.
  • Disable the WebExtension
  • Change the default engine
  • Re-enable the WebExtension

Actual Results

  • The override is not re-instated.

Expected Results

  • The override should be re-assessed and applied if the original conditions are still met.

We've decided not to fix this, the override should follow a similar flow to the add-on prompting, that we updated in bug 1646338.
