Checking the repo, for en-US it has been http for 2.53.1, 2.53.2 and 2.53.3
It should be going to https for 2.53.4

Under Linux, elfhack cannot optimize libxul.so when it compiled by clang+lld (probably gold-ld as well).
It could be fine to backport bug #1423822 up to its last commit https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr68/rev/83e147e835386f3e46034b75ca769fa8d3e992aa
